I have a 1998 Cobra and I bought a QH and Binary Editor. I started doing a little tuning this weekend. I was trying to get the fuel trims to within 1% and I figured one of the best ways to do this would be to graph trim vs. MAF voltage. Well to my surprise the MAF voltage does not datalog properly. The output is around 0.85 volts most of the time and goes as high as 1.05 at WOT. I'll have to look back at the file for exact numbers. My Snap-On scan tool gives voltage numbers I would expect to see from the MAF.
Can anyone help me modify the definition file so that this works?
Thanks for any help

Re: Can Anyone help with CRAJ0
I don't really know much about these DEF files but I would like to learn. CRAJ0 revision #17 has the MAFV address as "0x136A" and an equation of "X/4096". What is the X output that the DEF files is using?

Re: Can Anyone help with CRAJ0
i believe x should be whatever the data from that memory location is currently reading, x/4096, should be the conversion to display the data-log
its been a while since i cracked open a def file but i based on memory that seems correct, someone will have to come behind me and concur
can you verify that's the correct memory location for the maf? you can test it by removing the maf sensor from the housing and turning the ignition on, data-log the maf and use an air line or one of those compressed co2 cans used to clean keyboards and stuff, anyway blow it across the maf sensor, it should change the value at least slightly, if it doesn't change the value at all then that's more than likely not the correct memory location

Re: Can Anyone help with CRAJ0
Thanks man, I will check the MAF to see if the address is correct. I did some looking into TunerPros XDF file. That file uses the same equation, but the address scheme seems to be different.
