This is where the BIN Hackers and definition junkies discuss the inner workings of the EEC code and hardware. General tuning questions do not go here. Only technical/hardware-specific/code questions and discussions belong here.

'94 - '2004 Mustang V8 and Lightning strategies

Post by POPSRACING » Fri Jun 18, 2010 12:10 pm

I have been quiet for a while do to hashing through multiple strategies. We have finally got the 1994 - 2004 Mustang V8 strategies completed aside from some payloading stuff. Also all lightning support through '03 is now available as well. Since I was reminded I hadn't posted a notice figured I would finally.

sorry, this was more of a public question for the community at large. with one kid in college and another going in a year, i cannot justify discretionary spending for at least the next few years, unless i win the lottery or something.

I recently told a person planning for college to put a limit on the $$ as he would have to pay this back when hitting the workforce after, boy did I get the deer in headlights look. He was looking at 230K for U of R, he has since decided first 2 years at state school is alot cheaper.

exactly ... some private universities now cost 50 THOUSAND dollars per year

and in the "best" schools, they propagate the idea that public should be entitled to all these benefits (at the taxpayer's expense) and that it's OK for the government to spend more money than it collects

Any plans to support CCAQE/XDT2 (97 Explorer 5.0L) or any of the other 96-01 Explorer 5.0L strats?

I don't need them, but I know others that run those EECs on the v8-ranger.com forum and it might be nice to know support for them exists so I can recommend BE/EA/QH to those guys on that forum.

I am curious as well. I dont know what the big secret is.

I figured if an announcement of this magnitude is going to be made then a fee schedule should be included for those that are interested, with or without kids in school.

What is the difference between the strategies of a CRD1 and a ZYA2?

Are the processor speeds similar?

I'm new to all this so thanks for your time and patience.

Pops can you add a column for strategy and one for hardware code onto your list?
Or can you list the Stangs separate from the Lightnings?

Thanks
