Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

Thanks again everyone! Guess there's a first time for everything

I must say it runs 1000% better now and I just got a nice highway cruise datalog in open loop to run through EA and starting Tweecin' it.

tremec77 wrote:I took a look at your tune and I would lean out the MAF curve 5% at a time. You have some really high numbers there and this is probably why you are seeing just a rich condition. Granted you are running a turbo and you are going to have higher numbers but I just think you have them too high to start with. You may have to lean it out a lot to get it to run good. Since you have a wideband, force OL and clear your KAMRF's. Then flag accel enrichment (AEFUEL) and transient enrichment (EFTRFF) so you can filter these out. Then go drive the thing around and run that log through EA. Be sure when you run the log through EA that you have the MAF curve that was in the car when you logged or you will be chasing your tail. Don't go WOT until you get the low and mid range running good. You may have to increase the numbers back up later to dial in the A/F.

Don't forget this cause it is good.

Glad to see it is running good now!!!

I've seen it happen before, more than once. I have forgot to plug a MAF back in before more than once too, lol. I did that with my '00 Harley F150 and was freaking because it was shifting all wack, then the check engine light came on and I was like "duh". I had taken the maf and filter out to clean the K&N and forgot to plug it in.

We fixed that problem a while ago, and replaced any mafs that had problems...
You posted in that thread but must've missed the second to last post where the PMAS dude told Bob they had fixed the problem.
Ahhh..ok.
