Did you try changing you PC color depth ?

try 16bit, 24bit, 32bit as well, i noticed it would make a diff sometimes on refresh speed.

note that the speed is not always inversely proportional to the colour depth, i.e. 24 may be faster than 16 ....

with 130A8 I used RVAFA and when I tried to use the RVAFA on the 130A9 it did not work. However, the RVAF3 looks the same as the old RVAFA but it does not have any paylods. I did get the RVAF2 to work and seems to run fine with the payloads. Before and after the 130A9 I was having this problem. It was fine on the (i think it was) 130A7 but now when I try to log anything It skips. You should get the binary soon via email..

BTW.. Itried to change the color depth and res and nothing seems to help. What would happen if I went to Win 98 from XP? What if I got USB 2.0? I'll be logged on AOL as SilverKobra2001 if anyone wants to talk a bit tonight...

Tim,

Send me a zipped logfile and read your calibration back from the tweecer so it has the payload in it. Let me check and see wtf is up with this turd.

Sorry. Read the TwEECer position that has the binary where you are trying to datalog from. Save it to a file and email it to me. When you read it from the TwEECer, it will have the payload in it and I can look at the file and make sure that the payload is being written correctly.

Mike I just sent you a full 1/4 mile run and you can see more of the issues. You can see some of the logs are as few as 1-2 logs per second. Even at idle it skips so this is not just a WOT issue..

Mike,

We had tried to work out the issues I was having with my Tweecer skipping datalogs. I pulled it out and cleaned all of the contacts to try and find my problems. I wanted to see first off if I sent it back to you if you could see if it might be a possible hardware issue and if it is we can try to do something about it.

Second, I wanted to see if I could send my autologic chip with it to get the program of off it. Please let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks
Terry

Update...

I took out the tweecer and installed it onto a 1989 5.0 with a A9M ECM. The datalogging works like a charm. Put it back onto my Cobra and it gets jumping around again. Is the tweecer data logging not compatible with the 2001 Cobra?

I suspected it would work fine on another car since the chances of you and I both having identical computer/USB/connection problems was slim to none.

Is there a plan to fix this for the 2001 Cobras?

It isn't just 2001 Cobras. My 98 AOL3/CRAJ0 has always had the same problem.

This would also be the same on '01 GT w/GIZ2 2 or 4 bank using the RVAFA strategy....with Alpha A9xx. This would be using a known "GOOD" TwEECer from my '03 Mach 1............

I can not get it to datalog anything but garbage.............

I can not answer this as I have not heard from Mike G. in a while. I have been very busy working on my own "stuff". Have you emailed Mike directly to see if he has come up with a fix yet?

I still could not get the '01 GT that I was "tinkering" with to datalog corrctly. I know that he was looking into this isssue but have not heard anything yet......
