Just thought it was cool, and it'll make my life a hell of alot easier for this coming year, especially while trying to get a new bullet together and dialed in for it!

Moates Quarterhorse now a legal "add-on" in Factory Stock
I forgot to post up my pleasure about this back when the NMRA released the rules. One of my biggest hurdles when I started racing NMRA Factory Stock was NOT being able to use my trusted Moates Quarterhorse. I would have to dial in my tune, then have my buddy @ X&M Hot Rods transfer my tune over to a Diablo chip. Once on that and I was at the track there was no turning back so fueling and timing had to be finagled the old school way. Well I figured it wouldn't hurt to put in a rules request to have the QH legalized so I did, knowing I would be the only current racer who cared. Turns out it got approved as long as I remove the download cable.

It probably wasn't approved for use either.

Well one because as Chris said, it wasn't legal either, and two, because it never cost me anything whenever I needed to have it burnt to the Diablo. That's his way of sponsoring me, well, and discounts on time on the rollers ;)

if the diablo chip is legal the moates chip should be, whats the difference?
Re: Moates Quarterhorse now a legal "add-on" in Factory Stoc
The Diablo chip is called out on the rules, the Moates isn't.
